ArmChair “Bridge” Refined

We’ve completed a new lot of our wooden armchair “Bridge,” originally released last year.In this latest production, we widened the front of the seat by 10mm, extended the distance between the front and rear legs by 15mm, and expanded the rear leg tread by 30mm. We also raised the rear seat rail by 10mm from the floor to give the paper cord seat a softer feel.

What we were most passionate about, however, was a subtle yet meaningful refinement to the arm shape. While keeping the backrest design nearly unchanged, we gently angled the arm ends upward. This adjustment—only about 10mm—brings a noticeable improvement to both the comfort of resting your arms and the overall proportions of the chair.

アームチェア"Bridge"のアップデートをしました。座面前方を+10mm広げるとともに、前後脚の間隔を+15mm、後脚のトレッドを+30mm拡張しました。また、後座枠の位置を床から+10mmとし、ペーパーコードの座り心地をよりソフトに設計しています。

しかし、私たちが最も情熱を注いだのは、シートバックの形状をほぼそのままに保ちながら、アーム端のみをわずかに上向きにしたシェイプの調整です。わずか約10mmの変化ですが、腕を預けたときの心地よさと全体のプロポーションに確かな違いを感じていただけるはずです。
